Audiocrude
Audiocrude is a videography company who services the alternative rock scene. It was a great pleasure to work with them on their logo and branding.
Logo
Audiocrude wanted their logo to have some tie in to music, but they weren't really sure what they wanted. I started by looking at music culture references to find some assets i could incorporate into their wordmark.
Eventually I found the musical note "Turn" or "Gruppetto" which is when a group of notes are played together leading up to a shift or a change. I felt this was a perfect symbolism for the way their videography would mark a shift for each person they work with.
Now that I knew the direction I wanted to go in, I needed to see if I could fit it into the logo somehow. I tried multiple ways of creatively doing this, but I saw the o in Audiocrude as a perfect place. It just fit.
Business Cards
After getting approved on the logo (They loved it!) I moved onto creating some business cards for them. I always see business cards as a necessary next step, because what's a logo if you aren't promoting your brand with it? They wanted something more minimal so I supplied.
These are the business card designs they ended up liking the most. "Make heads turn" was a slogan i recommended because of the use of the turn symbolism.
